An unforgettable sighting for our guides and guests this afternoon as they found a relaxed leopard lounging in a tree.

While leopard sightings have dramatically increased over the past three years on the Reserve, their elusive and shy nature makes for fleeting views before they disappear into the thick bush. This leopard, however, was content with being photographed and viewed and we hope to get more sightings of this beautiful individual. It is believed this leopard is the cub of a female released in 2021.

Sun Acres Farm Experience; the ultimate South-African Experience

At first our guests felt both excited and a bit nervous about meeting reptiles and spiders up close. The experience started with a calm iguana, which guests could gently touch, realizing how gentle these creatures can be. Then, they met different snakes and learned about their role in nature and even how they help in human medicine. Some guests were scared at first, but with some encouragement, they bravely held a snake, and their fear slowly turned into fascination. The biggest challenge was meeting the tarantula. As the tarantula moved slowly and calmly, our guests found themselves more curious than scared. By the end, everyone was smiling, sharing their experiences of facing fears, and leaving with unforgettable memories of this amazing journey.

🐾 **A Wild Morning Adventure at Sun Arces Safari!** 🐾 Ever wondered what it’s like to be part of a real wildlife rescue? This morning, our guests joined our skilled vet in treating a golden wildebeest calf with an abscess. From the heart-pounding moment of darting to the careful assessment and hands-on treatment, every step was an incredible learning experience.
