It’s been a tough year for many, and im so privileged to have been able to give you some reprieve from it all at Tonquani. Some of you have experienced our improvements from new mattresses, and outdoor shower, solar lights and USB, but I think we’ve managed to keep the simplicity and appeal of being with nature.

I’ve had the co-management of my host, Anita Parrott, who has helped me build Tonquani into something really special, it wouldn’t be what it is without her. We’ve held Superhost status on Airbnb for ove a year, and she truly is my Superhost!

We have been most fortunate to have wonderful guests come enjoy nature, with the ultimate compliment of returning guests.

I’m wishing you all a wonderful 2022, looking forward to faithful returning guests, and welcoming new ones.

On our second anniversary since we opened our door's, I think it's time to share a little background. I used to come to Utopia as a child, then did not come for many years, and when we did, we found Tonquani - Now I bring my own son and he's learning to love nature.

So here's a few 'Now' and 'Then' photos, it's amazing how 40 years later, we could still remember the chalet we stayed in and the special spaces we played as kids!
