SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
At African Tusk Clothing, one of our core values has always been sustainability and the impact our business has on the environment. Our offices and factory is off the grid and we have always made use of re-used packing boxes, reducing our reliance on new boxes
To add to this and after extensive local sourcing we can proudly report that as from November 2023 we will begin to make use of BIODEGRADABLE loop locks and packing bags - in addition, our packing bags will be of the zip lock type, with the request they be re-used instead of discarded
We aim to completely remove all single use plastics from our production and delivery

Winter is upon us and the temperature in the valley which houses our office and storage complex plummets to zero in the mornings at this time of the year. We share the valley with the Ruigtevlei Primary School. We warmed up the kids by donating beanies and gloves to all the pupils and teachers this week.
