AFRICA LODGES COMPANY PROFILE
Africa Lodges hotel is situated in iron mining town of Thabazimbi in the Waterberg region of Limpopo province. It is conveniently located within easy driving distances of shopping facilities, medical facilities, government offices and banks easily accessible from Pretoria, Rustenburg and Lephalale. The hotel was launched in 2013 and offers 23 en-suite and air-conditioned rooms. All rooms have select channel DSTV, tea and coffee making facilities and fully supplied bathrooms. The hotel boasts a 40 seater dining facility for exclusive use by hotel guests. Guests can also choose room service depending on their preferences. A wide selection of dishes are served from both our a la carte or buffet options. A live-in chef is available to prepare meals for guests requiring catering outside our normal operating hours. A fully equipped, air conditioned conference hall is available and can accommodate up 40 delegates depending on sitting arrangements. Delegates can choose between a full or half day package both of which come with all necessary equipment including projector, flipcharts, notepads, pens, and free wireless internet. A recreation area comprising pool and a bar is currently under renovation and is set to be fully functional by mid-March 2015. A casual menu will be served, including snacks and a range of cocktails will be available. The hotel has a set standard check-in procedure which requires all guests to have their personal information recorded at reception before rooms can be allocated. Guests are also required to sign check-in and indemnity forms before proceeding to the rooms. Reception must be notified if any guests other than those recorded will be occupying the rooms in which case a certain fee may be added on depending on the nature of their visit. Such guests may be required to leave the hotel at set times. There is a live-in receptionist manning the front office till 22h00. Security will notify receptionist for any late arrivals. There are security details every night between 18h00 and 06h00 patrolling the hotel premises and surrounds. All vehicles arriving after 22h00 will be recorded in the vehicle log book and respective drivers will be required to sign in/out. Drunk and disorderly guests may be barred entry if it is deemed that they may disturb peace and security of other guests. You can also spend a day relaxing with your loved ones by the pool seeping some cocktails. Thabazimbi Golf Club is a mere 5km away for those that enjoy a round of golf. GAME DRIVE 2 NIGHT PACKAGE
The package includes a game drive for two at the famous Marakele National Park which is situated 20km away from Africa Lodges. Choose between an early morning or an evening 3 hour game drive through the vast wilderness boasting the big 5 and a host of other animal and bird species. Also included in the package are breakfast and dinner for 2 and beverages. Package excludes all alcoholic beverages. Total package costs R1995.00 including vat. PREDATOR PARK PACKAGE
This is an exciting up-close encounter with predators. Lions, Bengal tigers, cheetahs are there to be seen. The highlight of the adventure is the nerve-wrecking Lion Drive. You will be driven into the lion camp by experienced rangers in the lion cage and take pictures of the lions. The package includes breakfast for 2 days, dinner for 2 days, non-alcoholic beverages with meals. Package excludes alcoholic beverages.
