It’s with heartfelt appreciation and a touch of nostalgia that we announce the closing of our Ge**er and Co Bitterfontein farmstall in Namaqualand, which opened its doors on 15 June 2018. This was our very first farmstall, and the memories we made over the past six years are truly unforgettable.
In mid-2018, we took over an empty, rundown old tourism building next to the N7 and transformed it into a happy space filled with good memories. Unfortunately, our rent agreement has come to an end. We came to Bitterfontein with the intention of making a positive impact on the community. However, due to promises not kept by outside parties, we have to close this chapter after six wonderful years.
We want to thank each and every client who made us their go-to pitstop for a coffee, roosterkoek, and much more. Your support and smiles meant the world to us!
A special thank you to Nicolene, Linda, and Maureen, the local ladies who’ve been the heart of the farmstall since day one, running it with dedication and warmth. You’ve made this journey so special.
As we close this chapter, we carry the wonderful memories and gratitude with us. Thank you, Bitterfontein community!
