Pictures like this make us ridiculously happy!
This is Jannie and his family- Armando managed to take his son fishing- Jannie being a diver went diving at Russel’s dive shop (50m) down the beach. I believe lots of seafood was eaten and many laughs had around the fire and during their time with us.

Thank you for visiting us, giving us some forward advice and as always we hope to see you again!

100m from us is Barra Reef divers which specializes in all sea going adventures. I have personally dived with this team before and they are fantastic and not to mention professional.
Nothing better than exploring the corals and finishing it off with an ice cold local beer and a lounge in their huge pool.

The smile we all know well!❤️

For those that have visited Coubar, you’d know that Armando has a love for fishing and without doubt is an 10000 hour expert.
The result is a man who asks politely to use the freezer for his bait the next morning, going out at 4am coming back with his bounty of Couta to share with us and his family. In this instance we had fresh fish sandwiches with the legendary Pao…shucks it was good.
Ask for any of the regions bounties and he’ll make every effort to find it and not have you be ripped off. (He HATES skelems).
What a legend!!!
