"The wine is made from 4 different vineyards. As with previous vintages, the wine shows an elegant minerality with lime-citrus, sourdough and cinnamon flavours. The tight minerality keeps a wonderful acid grip on the palate showing good aging potential. A floral note of wild, white flowers such as frangipani and almond blossom is obvious on the front of the nose and follows through the palate. Likened by many to the flavours found in cooler Burgundian and Chablis sites, the focus here is to make elegant wines." — 100% Chardonnay

Another Friday, another great wine session 🍷🍷🍷 joined in at to unpack the week and simply enjoy a good moment between wine friends. While was doing Ali-like things, we opened a bottle of .spioenkop 1900's and got our guests of the evening like to try it out and comment. It of of course, did not disappoint, how could it?

The Bean🍷

Showcasing the more serious side of Pinotage

The Bean showcases dark fruit characteristics, finely integrated with coffee/mocha flavours. To achieve this, the wine was fermented and aged on well roasted French oak staves. A deep purple colour, with silky tannins. The palate is surprisingly complex for such a young wine!

Chocolate🍫

Containing 70% cocoa solids this bar is made using ethically sourced Ugandan cocoa beans with dark roasted Arabica coffee beans ground into it. This result in a deep, aromatic chocolate bar that will surprise and delight coffee lovers! Paired with The Bean and you’re officially in coffee heaven !
