Unfortunately, ANOTHER amended mining right application threatens residents, tourists and the environment on the outskirts of the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site, particularly in the Vaal Eden Play Stay area.

Sweet Sensations has applied to include screening in their existing mining operations. This will directly increase dust, noise, and vibration levels in the area. We will leave it up to you to imagine the impact on our river and "scenic" roads - not to mention our quality of life and property values...

We've beaten them before and we can do it again, but not without your help. If you haven't received an email notification this week, they've "forgotten" that you are a registered Interested & Affected Party. Please RE-register, or register, by email to [email protected]. (You may copy [email protected] if you wish.)

The Draft Regulation 31 Amendment Report will be available for public comments until 6 April 2021 for a 30-day legislated commenting period. Please use the Project reference number when registering and providing your comment: SWS6801.
