Unfortunately, ANOTHER amended mining right application threatens residents, tourists and the environment on the outskirts of the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site, particularly in the Vaal Eden Play Stay area.
Sweet Sensations has applied to include screening in their existing mining operations. This will directly increase dust, noise, and vibration levels in the area. We will leave it up to you to imagine the impact on our river and "scenic" roads - not to mention our quality of life and property values...
We've beaten them before and we can do it again, but not without your help.
