Hello everyone!

We are planning a hike for the 28th - 30th of June 2024 in Loskop, Limpopo. The 8km hike promises some spectacular scenery, waterfalls and kloofs.

We depart on Friday the 28th at around 2pm and return on Sunday.

Hike includes 2 nights of accommodation at a lodge - shared.
Transport to and from Pretoria.
All hiking permits and entrance fees.
All meals + a snack pack for your hike.
Guided hike.
Packing list.
Certificate on completion.
Boat ride.

Excludes
Drinks and any additional snacks you may want.

Although many of the over 40 shipwrecks along our coast have been scrapped, a few still stand decaying among the rocks or sand.

A very important piece of equipment when you’re out adventuring or in nature. A good quality flask. This one from Kulgo] is perfect and is our go too to keep drinks hot or cold. Love the quality and after almost a year this bottle is still used daily! No leaks, nothing!

Waterfall Bluff is one of only a few waterfalls in the world that plunge straight into the ocean.

The lighthouse on Umhlangas beach was completed in 1954 and has been the subject of numerous paintings and memorabilia. Built to replace the Bluff lighthouse, which was commissioned in 1869 but had to be abandoned due to its rapid deterioration, it stands guard to some of the most treacherous waters of Southern Africa and not only warns ships of the hidden dangers, but the flashing light is also a welcome to the ships sailing into the safety of the Durban harbour.

We went GLAMPING at at Hoedspruit, Greater Kruger.

The perfect location to explore the Kruger National Park, Panorama Route and Blyde River Canyon.

Stay in one of the 11 boutique glamping tents that surround the farm dam. The dam is in-fact well stocked with carp, bass, bream and barbel and during our short stay, we witnessed many successful fishermen proudly displaying their catches.

The camp offers multiple tours and game drives but you would be forgiven for not wanting to leave the farm. There is a shop on site that stocks all the basics, a pool area and each one of the tents have their own private wood-fired hot tub (something that we recently learned can be purchased for your own home! - talk about taking a piece of AfriCamps home with you!) which the kids could not get enough of.

The farm is also home to an abundance of bird species and game such as nyala, zebra, waterbuck and kudu which are seen frequently around camp.

The tent itself is well planned out and is spacious - a truly immersive experience, without sacrificing any important home comforts.

The Whitehouse Luxury Eco-Cabin at

Perfect romantic couple’s or small family retreat. This beautiful white cabin has a stunning 360 view overlooking the Karoo veld and hills on the one side and mountain on the other side.

Sleeps up to 4 people. (2 Adults in bedroom, and pull out couch in living room for 2 children.) Open plan living room and kitchen feels spacious and luxurious, and is well equipped. Bathroom with shower, and also an outside shower for those summer days and nights.

100% off grid, with borehole water, hot water from gas geyser, and electricity from solar power. There is a gas oven and stove for all cooking needs, electric plugs to charge phones, but no phone signal or TV, so that you can enjoy nature as its supposed to be.

A long wooden deck outside with relaxing chairs and a Weber braai makes for a great braai while watching the views and stars.

There is also a fire pit at the side of the house if you want to keep it more rustic. A wood fired hot tub is at the end of the deck, to use as a splash pool in the summer and luxurious hot tub in the evenings, relaxing with your loved one or friends.
