I am fortunate to know all of these kinds of women, many of whom I get to work with on a daily basis! Many who inspire me to do incredible things, and be better each day!!

What a year 2022 was for all of us!
We were thrilled to see the re-opening of our world, the dropping of many covid requirements, and a return to travel full-force... ✈️
As our client needs had become more complicated, and the demand for travel increased, we found ourselves swamped with fantastic new enquiries, numerous re-books and changes, and a myriad of challenges within the travel industry.

December is definitely one of my 𝙁𝘼𝙑𝙊𝙐𝙍𝙄𝙏𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙃𝙎 🤩

With plenty to celebrate in our family this month from birthdays to anniversaries and of course Christmas.🎄

I'm a bit of a sucker for traditions and with my husband being German we love to embrace these, especially at this time of year.

As a little family we are still paving our way with some of our own traditions.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘: 𝗜𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗶𝗿𝘆?

🇿🇦 Effective 1 November 2022, fees for passports will increase between 50-100%! If yours is nearing expiry - renew it NOW before the increase takes place!

STANDARD PASSPORTS:
Standard passports will increase to R600.00
CHILD’S PASSPORTS:
Child passports will increase to R600.00
MAXI PASSPORTS:
Maxi passports will increase by 100% to R1200.00

Passport renewals can be done through some banks, BUT I have found that the fastest way is to head to Home Affairs with a book and some patience and apply there - once applied for, passports are back within five days or so - don't wait!

Last, but definitely not least on on our iconic train journeys.....🚂
Both the slowest and the most scenic train ride in Europe, the 𝙂𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 covers 180 miles in 7 ½ hours.
This leisurely trip takes you through the magnificent Swiss Alps, across 291 bridges, through 91 tunnels and across the Oberalp Pass, which reaches nearly 7,000 feet. Switzerland’s Alpine landscape here is magically untouched, and you will have trouble tearing yourself away from the windows as you wind your way among mountain forests, valleys, wide open meadows and clear streams.

You might find it difficult to choose when to experience this incredible train journey.
In October, the brilliantly colored trees make the trip a special experience. In winter, the special touch is the snow on the Oberalp Pass and mostly in the valleys too.
If you want the best of both worlds - spring offers the perfect combination of green valleys and snowy mountains.

Our next iconic rail journey takes us to the Canadian Rockies.

One where spectacular views of iconic, untouched landscapes unfold around you. Where you meander through towering mountains in luxurious glass-dome coach with enchanting panoramic views.

As a daylight-only train you spend the day onboard surrounded by beautiful scenery of national parks, natural wonders and historic landmarks.
