Closing out 2024 with a Bridge ⚡ in the Eastern Cape.
The Bushman’s River Underpass is OPEN. The fence blocking movement is GONE
All sorts of 🐃🦒🐘🦛🦏 are moving back and forwards under the N2 as and when they feel like it.
Another big step forward in the 30 years of conservation usccess in the Eastern Cape. Another big step towards the vision of connected corridors of conservation across the region.
These images captured by the trail cam system funded by our SkyRun 2024 FundRunners. In the end the FundRunners raised R41 813, and Be Moved added R3 450 from last year’s Full Moon Patrol – so all the costs of the fully integrated capture, tracking and reporting system were covered.
Well done to Luke Stegmann, Dustin Grace, Carien de Bruyn and Alta Linstrom for hitting their target. And Charlene Mansfield even more so for being raising the most, R15 500.
