On a recent visit to the Tsitsikamma we were showered with raindrops and a rainbow and it was glorious! Sometimes we just need to embrace what we are dealt and make the most of it.
The suspension bridge hike is one of our all-time favourites - a must when visiting the Eastern Cape.

We must have just missed the action - the cheetah had only just started tucking in when we arrived. It’s incredible to just sit quietly and listen to those powerful jaws! The perfect sighting to end the day!

Highlights from a recent visit to - we had incredible elephant sightings and were fortunate to spot two male lions chilling right next to the road. The park is gorgeously green at the moment with high numbers of kudu and zebra too.
We’re sharing some highlights of our clients’ recent trip to Namibia. They spent some time in Etosha, Spitzkoppe and Sossusvlei. This desert jewel is fast becoming a favourite travel destination in Africa and it’s easy to understand why. We can’t wait to go back for more!

There are still moments of disbelief in my heart, when I can’t believe that I get to do what I love doing…curating immersive journeys for my clients that make them fall in love with Africa. I have loved being in the African bush since I was a child. I have had hundreds of animal encounters and to this day, each one is special to me. I am still in awe at the dexterity of an elephant’s trunk, the detail of a zebra’s stripes and the iridescence of a starling’s feathers. My heart sings when I hear my clients comment about the smaller things because a journey of discovery lies in the details - the eye never forgets what the heart has seen.

A leopard sighting is probably the animal sighting our guests are most impressed by. We will continue to support causes that conserve and protect these majestic big cats in their natural habitat 💓 Is there a more special sight than a leopard in a tree?
A hike at Robberg Nature Reserve is something we always recommend to our clients when they visit the Garden Route.. It truly is a little jewel - with incredible scenery and beautiful views. It's a great family outing - pack a picnic and a sense of adventure - your kids will love it!

Around this time, every year, I long for the beaches on the north-east coast of South Africa. Not because I need to tan...but because it is sea turtle hatching season! I spent many nights trotting along the beach tagging turtles and counting hatchlings and it has left such a profound mark on my heart 🤩. There is nothing more humbling than being in the quiet presence of a wild animal - especially if that wild animal is a mommy sea turtle laying her eggs.
