Previously this year we were blessed with R300 by one of the owners of a destination we visited and decided to use this at 3 different coffee shops, only spending R100 per coffee shop.. This is now our 3rd coffee shop😃
What an absolute treat we stumbled upon!

XPRESSO at Lifestyle Centre, Centurion.

A quick "pit-stop" shop after a meeting, having a casual meeting spot, or pop in, pick up and go..

Looking at the menu, stunned as everything on there was R14! The most delicious sweet and savoury treats and the best Strawberry Sushies in town!

Make time in your busy work- day and pop in!

What an absolute gem when looking for fine dining! The perfect date night destination!

Stylish, intemate, romantic, heart-warming....we felt at home the moment we stepped in.

Superb dishes that played music in our mouths, plated in a 5-star way... Our eyes lit up with each serving!
This family run gem, is absoluteley worth a visit.
Accommodation also available at Kiepersol House..what better way to end off a delectable meal with a night spent in style!

Thorn Tree Bush Camp, Dinokeng.. Unfenced, camping..
What a momentous experience!
Open bush area, no power, need to bring your own water, no ablutions, so you need to book a portapotty!
So close to nature, nothing can beat this!!
Not sure what animals lurk in the bush..All your senses needs to be awake!
We found the Cheethas not even 20m from our camp site!
Night sounds, fire crackling, what more can you ask for...

Welcoming and cozy!

Explaining our mission to our friendly waiter Leo, he was so excited to be part of this. He immediately took initiative and said that we need not worry, he will get us sorted..
He spoiled each of us with a delicious coffee and a Pastel de nata, a Portuguese egg custard tart pastry. His smile when serving us was priceless..

BakeHouse has a true retro feel, mouth-watering baked goods, and a diverse menu to suite every pallet.

So worth a visit!!

Momentous Experiences was blessed with R300 by the owners of one of the destinations we visited...We were so excited to see how far R300 can go! And so, our journey started to find 3 x Unique Coffee Shops in our area and only spend R100 including tip at each Coffee Shop!

What a super unique little place!!

This Coffee Shop with its remarkable ambiance, characterized by vibrant colours and creative decor, captivates the attention of visitors. The delectable array of baked goods, coffee, teas and the BEST Peanut Butter Milkshake we ever had, left a lasting impression. The BelconQuesoMuffin was an absolute culinary delight!

We wholeheartedly recommend this unique spot and we will definitely visit again!!

Adding some more visits to The Kleynhans Home... this time..the BushCamp..Beautifull tended accommodation for family, friends or solo travelers...
Tranquilty at its best...you can even hear the Lions roar with the nearby Lion Park Resort adding to the real bush experience. Comfy beds, electric blankets for the cold winters nights and a loveley splash pool to cool off during hot sunny days. Such care taken to make each and every space on the grounds so special.

Absolutley loved staying here!

Mawingo Cottages.. Ashburton, KZN... WOW! What a true gem we found... A perfect family spot or a romantic hide-out!
Two cozy cottages next to each other, but private enough for individual families.. Our unit had a bath with a window overlooking the bush..and yes...its all about the bath!
The outside tub provided a lot of fun..
And what more fun with Sorbet bath spoils and creamy Amarula☺️
From our deck we had a perfect view of the water troth for the animals..We saw Zebra, Impala, Njala and the cutest little Jackal one night.. The bird sounds are captivating from morning till night..even an owl suprised us..
There is also a beautiful walking trail.. our time did not allow for this, but visit their FaceBook page for photos..

Our hosts made us feel like family from the moment we arrived..
This was such a feel-good break-away, our hearts were filled, our souls calmed and our minds relaxed...

Destiny Castle....Just outside Fouriesburg... What a magical place. The rich history of why the castle was built leaves you in awe..
You are swept away into an era of Kings and Queens...Knights and Honour... Love...

The song by Bette Midler, The Rose, features as the theam throughout the castle..

Eagle View One, Beumont Farm, Dullstroom.. No words can fully describe this place. So much peace and quiet, rolling hills of green, beautifully isolated..we were lucky to have some rainy weather that made it so much more romantic!
The steaming hot tub was the highlight.. relaxing, stargazing and re-connecting..
Folded in a blanket of mist the next morning...no better way to wake up..

2nd Night spent at Kokiville-Homestead...this time in the Tipi tent..
What a momentous experience! Beautifull mountain views, captivating nature scenes..
This is the most romantic spot, perfect for loving couples to pop the question.
Once again, you can see and feel the heart and soul our hosts, Janine and Gavin has put into this unique place. All aspects of this stunning spot in perfect harmony.

Nkambeni Safari Camp... Kruger National Park.
Tented accomodation and yes, there was Airconditioning.
Game drive and a beautifull sunset, bush braai for dinner and traditional dancing...a true African Bush experience..

Valley of the Rainbow - Country Estate & Nature Reserve... The Mill unit.. Between Dullstroom and Stoffberg..
What a unique place. Taking you back in time where you can almost hear the watermill, driving the milling machines and grinding the maize.. A 120 year old mill, a place rich with history.
Lovely grounds with trout dams, walking trails..where your soul can find some piece.

Sibani Lodge..Located in the Cradle area..It was a feel-good moment that lasted and lasted..

When entering the Lodge, you are greeted by friendly staff..Interior design that pulls you in, making sure you never want to leave..

We booked the sunset picnic and together with that you get a game drive..2hours in total.

Beautifull picnic baskets, packed with meaty treats, cheese, baked goods, wine..what more can you ask for..

What an absolute Momentous Experience!! So romantic, the perfect setting for you and your partner to re-connect, celebrate or even just to relax in nature.

The tented camp is sooo luxurious, beautifull interior, stunning view of the waterhole, some units have a view of the escarpment only..and the the Hot Tub, to make the experience even more special.

This gem we can highly recommend!

Blue Crane Restaurant and Austin Roberts bird sanctuary.. Brooklyn area..Such a gem, nested in the city but when you are there it transports you right into the bush..
Delicious breakfast..friendly staff, kids play area, bird watching and when it's winter, we will return to have some wine on the comfy couch in front of the fire..

Buyuk Chamlija Socio Eco Techno Village...
Going local, we found this gem on the outskirts of Centurion..
What an amazing experience!
Welcomed by an overall feeling of tranquility, friendly staff, attention to detail, grounds immaculatley kept, designed with so much care and passion. The playground, any kids dream.
The Karinja, the dome shaped coffee shop and restaurant is truly a different experience...Turkish Coffee, Meze, Lamb Kebab, Trout, Turkish tee and a sweet dessert with melted Mozarella... What a treat!

Keep in mind, you need to pay an entrance fee..

Even if one of us are travelling solo for our day job..we will always find a little something special to share...
Gaborone...not just a city...you can find the beauty of the bush 15min drive from town...
To relax after a days work with incredible views and having feel good moments is what life is all about...👆 you just have to make it happen...

Setting out mid-morning to this birthday suprize for hubby-to-be...
Greeted by my favoure tree..a Jacaranda in bloom and underneath, our bouble waited for us..
Full body massage was just what we needed to get rid of the stress of the week..we were transported to heaven whilst under the care of our therapists..

A bouble picnic and massage...creating feel good memories one experience at a time.
