The Marine Big 5 are the whale, shark, dolphin, seal, and penguin – many of which are drawn close to the KZN South Coast shores as they hungrily chase the shoals of silver sardines heading north.

Looks like the sneaky sardines have arrived on the South. coast. Nets taken at Elysium and Phumula yeaterday. These are the pilot shoals so early days yet. Large amounts of mixed sardines and mackerel off Mpame area near Coffee Bay. Will keep you posted as I get updates. Anyone wanting to see the action from the water please PM me.

Bazley Beach is a very secluded KZN South Coast “one road in & one road out” residential suburb. Bazley is a declared nature Conservancy and its residents and guests are reminded of the privilege they share with this eco-sensitive coastal environment that is home to diverse birdlife and small game animals alike.

Some of the key features of Two Ridge Guest House is the uninterrupted 180-degree sea view with seasonal whale migrations, surfing dolphins, unbelievable sardine runs and brilliant fishing or surfing spots, but most of all unspoiled stretches of beach!
