Backpacking the Eastern Cape is the best possible way of exploring the adventure province. There are wonderful Backpackers dotted along the coast from Storms River to Port St Johns and beyond. If you are into discovering unique inland town then visit Nieu Bethesda, Hogsback, Tsitsa

Falls and many more. If you are into the social side when travelling then check out the volunteering options available on the Travel Now Now site. You might also want to check out the language school options in JBay and PE if you have a month or two to spare. They are both beautiful places to learn while enjoying surf, sun and nature. There are plenty of day trips as well as longer tours available throughout the Eastern Cape, check in at any Backpackers to check out whats happening in the area!
