The mapping team at is responsible for these new maps that show visitors to Namaqualand where they can explore. What's more, there's a Slingsby-style touring map for Namaqualand in the pipeline, so come flower season you will be able to explore with confidence.

A fully revised version of the definitive Cederberg map is out now! The 5th edition has been expanded to give more attention to climbing and it now lists 200 bouldering sites. The map also reflects official CapeNature trail names and codes, making it easier to find your way. The revised map, which is proudly published by is available from the online shop. Have you heard of the Canals Route? North of Hartbeespoort Dam, a network of gravel roads lead alongside the canals that water the farmlands. Willem Rudolph devised a loop that is ideal for a day's outing, whether in 4x4 or on an adventure bike. "Four cars in my group decided to do the route. What an eye opener! So close to JHB!
