Tranquil Selborne Golf Estate and Spa in a quiet town of Pennington (less than 1 hour away from Durban) offers comfortable rooms, private beach club, fantastic cuisine, and… a championship Golf course, one of the top 100 in Southern Africa.

Denis Baker, who tried playing golf in the United States while he visited the country for a Cattle Conference, decided to turn his home into a luxury Golf Estate in 1985 and since 1987 the course has been open for play.

We love this course for the manicured greens, abundance of water hazards that makes it interesting and stunning views - it is on the South Coast after all.

I reckon most of you heard of Shark cage diving - where you are immersed in the water full of sharks in the safety of the cage. Now who would venture to snorkel with those creatures instead?

About two hours south from Durban lies one of the most popular golf courses of South Africa - Wild Coast Sun. Designed by renowned American Robert Trent Jones II, it is set in natural bush between two rivers meeting the Indian ocean. This offers not only stunning views (we are blessed with that in SA), but also a great wind challenge to every golfer. ⛳️

Our favorite hole - Waterfall (13th hole) - there is something magical when your ball goes over a gorge with a waterfall. 🌈🌈🌈

We are back online! We used this time wisely to find the best little guest houses along the coast and inland, play great golf courses, camp in the wild and find our inner child.
