Who is Availabed?
Availabed is a travel agency that acts as the link between the client looking for accommodation and the accommodation supplier, albeit guest house, hotel or self-catering unit. We also assist with flight bookings.
Availabed has been in existence since 2005 and operates country wide throughout the Republic of South Africa.
Why Availabed?
We strive to and pride ourselves on providing more personal service by contacting our clients and service providers via e-mails and telephone. We do not have an online booking engine as we aim to really understand our client’s needs and get specific accommodation that suits your special needs, e.g. close to hospitals, wheelchair friendly, contractor’s accommodation, your budget etc.
If you have personnel/contractors, and you just do not have the time to search or phone, Availabed is the solution for you!
One call to us, and we do the rest!
No joining fee is applicable, Availabed works on a commission basis. The commission is added onto the rate from the accommodation facility, which will be included in the rate you see on your quote.
No hidden costs!
Availabed is VAT registered!
What is the process?
You as the client contact Availabed enquiring about accommodation.
Availabed contacts the service providers in that area and enquires about the availability of accommodation according to your needs.
If the service provider has accommodation available that suits the requirements of the client, Availabed requests a quotation from the service provider.
Availabed will provide 3 quotes to the client, after which the client chooses the best suited option.
Availabed makes the booking at the clients chosen option. At this stage, the booking is confirmed, and the service provider becomes obliged to Availabed to reserve the booked accommodation.
We do all the paperwork and invoicing to you. You pay Availabed and we pay the service provider.
As soon as payment has been received, we send you the confirmation with contact details, addresses and special arrangement details for your reservation.
The service provider will be paid in full when you arrive at the establishment and you can take up the booked accommodation without any delay.
