O Namibia, Namibia
Deadvlei like we have NOT seen it before...
Who would have believed a lightning storm, with rain,
in the middle of winter - and in the middle of a severe drought.

Together we can do this.
The amazing symbiotic relationships in nature….
Says photographer – ‘On a warm afternoon, the giraffe quenched his thirst and, with his help, so did his loyal flurry of ox-peckers.
What a wonderful world.’

Some good news.... just LOOK at the Chobe River in flood.... the highest its been in 10 years!!!! 💙💙💙

Some happy Friday news: The Chobe River is rising FAST! It’s great to see this powerful, iconic river reclaiming the land and breaking its banks once again.

The current flood is seeing water levels peak further up river in the Katima Mulilo region of the Zambezi River, which means that in a few days time we will continue to see more water coming in.

This is one of the highest floods in the last 10 years and we couldn’t be more grateful. We are just shy of the decade highs reached in 2017, could we beat that?

Please continue to share all things Chobe on

Did you know that when raising her cubs, a mother cheetah will change lairs every 4 days. This prevents the buildup of scent which attracts predators.
