The reason why we love to share the biodiversity of this area with visitors!

Did you know that more than 9000 plant species occur in the - of which 6192 species, 160 genera and six families are found nowhere else on the planet! On top of these incredible plant stats, 55% of the 44 frog taxa and 27 of the reptile taxa are also endemic! Unfortunately, due to miss management of land and urban pressures, an alarmingly high number of these species are threatened making our conservation work that much more critical. By working together to protect and conserve the CFK we can ensure that this rich and unique area of biodiversity is preserved for generations to come. http://thetablemountainfund.org.za/biodiversity-importance-of-the-cape-floristic-kingdom/
