Dear friends and supporters out there. It has come to our attention that certain users suggested to Facebook that Fairfield Tours is no longer in business and permanently closed.

We have no idea what the intention behind this rumor is but can assure you, that we are still in business and although it has been a rough and tough time, we are very confident that we will still be around once this pandemic is over - like most of us in the industry who have put numerous measures in place and made their teams smaller to survive.

Our heart goes out to the numerous tourism businesses that did not survive the last 2 years despite all efforts. We wish to take this opportunity to thank all those tourism partners, who showed us great support! We are in this together and need to stay optimistic rather than spread rumors.

Wishing you all a prosperous 2022, a year of recovery! 🍀

Germany downgraded South Africa and Namibia's risk levels.

Please note as of 1st August, South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, and Namibia have been downgraded from being classified as a virus variant area by the Robert Koch Institute to now being areas of high risk. This implies that:

• Passengers who have been fully vaccinated with approved vaccines do not need to be quarantined at all on return to Germany after travelling to South Africa and Namibia, as long as they comply with passport and visa regulations.
• Passengers who have not been fully vaccinated have to quarantine for only ten days instead of fourteen days and can be ended after just five days with a negative PCR test.
