How amazing is time ??...... A year ago, we had been thrown into yet another Travel Ban - a time of uncertainty, frustration, anger and worry about how much longer Covid and all it's conotations will affect our (and many others) business. Roll on 2022 - and we are flourishing - busier than ever before, reuniting those with loved ones .... resurrecting bookings that this dreaded Virus had placed on hold and so much more. We get to experience (once more) the joys of our travellers, clients and friends travel experiences.
As we head into Christmas, may we take this time to say a sincere Thank you for your support through the last year, and we hope that 2023 is a Blessed and Fabulous New Year, for you and yours.

The Kloof/Hillcrest offices were the first Harvey World Travel Branches in KZN, and Brigitte took ownership in the May of 2001. Since then, we have seen and been through it all ..... Engagements & Marriages, Births, Deaths & Divorce ....The Recession of 2008/9. Moving premises in 2015 which saw our 2 branches under the same roof (something we had been trying to do for a long time) and the renaming of our Branch to Harvey World Travel Highway ....and then more recently the dreaded Covid, Travel Bans and restructuring which has seen us working from home. Through it all, we gave it our all and still continue to do so. We have many awards to our name including the sought after Harvey World Branch of the Year, which we have had the honour of being awarded twice.
Thank you to our Owner Brigitte Turner, who has always had the best interests of her Staff and Clients at heart, and this loyalty is why we are where we are today ! Join me in congratulating Brigitte and her Team for this amazing milestone, and wishing them all continued sucess going forward.

Almost a year ago, we made a decision to move out of our building, and to set up office from home ...... a move to keep the staff safe and also a way of ensuring we did not become a Covid Casualty. They say it doesn't take a building to make a church, and that is exactly the same with us. We are still a team ..... we have Zoom meetings, Whatsapp Chats, and our Phone numbers haven't changed either 🙂
We have been there for you througout this dreadful Covid time, and we will be there for you as we come out of this and move forward into some sense of normality.
If you need to meet up with one of your consultants, that can be arranged as well.

Ah - how times have changed over the years ? Who remembers dashing into a souvenir shop, to grab a postcard to send back home - only for it to arrive days after you actually got home 😝

Whoop Whoop 🙂 The news many of us have been waiting for !! South Africa will move off the red list at 4am Monday 11 October. If you arrive in England before then, you need to follow the red list rules.

We are excited !!!!
Yes, effective 01 Aug Germany and Switzerland is opening for us to travel again. This means that fully vaxxed travellers will no longer be liable for quarantine on arrival. For Germany ,the unvaxxed, quarantine will be 10 days instead of 14 and can be ended after just five days with a negative PCR test.
Switzerland are still NOT allowing unvaccinated passengers at this stage. Please call one of our Travel Professionals to help you plan your next trip.
