There are 5 toes on each elephant foot, however, not all have toenails.
Both the Asian and African forest elephants have four toes on the back feet and five on the front feet.
Thick pads of gristle under each heel serve as a shock absorber and cushioning that allows these largest terrestrial animas to move and bear weight without experiencing any pain.

Weaver birds are the only birds recorded with the ability to tie knots.
Male weavers tend to be the nest builders. Once the nest building is completed, the female weaver will inspect her partner’s work.
If it is not up to par, she will rip the nest to shreds and the male will have to rebuild it until she approves and moves in.
