Snyman Sjokolateurs Hannes Snyman, owner of Snyman Sjokolateur qualified as chocolatier in June 2005 in a Belgium small town called Kortrijk.

Trained by the Master Belgium Chocolatier, Wim den Duyver, they were able to bring the craftmanship of making pure Belgium chocolates and pralines to South Africa. Hannes, a qualified pharmacist and pharmacy owner, started out by making chocolates in his pharmacy, but soon realized that the need was there to branch out to something bigger, something that would resemble and reinforce the true Belgi

um Chocolatrie Experience. Snyman Sjokolateur was born in June 2007, an authentic little outlet, similar to what it looks like in the Flemish town of Brugge, Belgium. Learning to make chocolate in Belgium style was a unique experience, reinforced by the country, unique culture. It was our dream to bring that exact experience to the South African market. Today, Snyman Sjokolateurs has grown to handcrafting and designing a variety of Belgium chocolates and pralines, supplying not only to the individual, but to corporate clients and weddings as well.
