Graham Beck Cuvée Clive once again named Sparkling Wine of the Year in the 2020 Tim Atkin Report

The 2014 Cuvée Clive was awarded a stellar 97 points out of 100, earning it the highest ranking in the sparkling wine line-up as well as a Gold Medal. Last year also saw the 2014 being selected as Sparkling Wine of the Year, while this sought-after honour also went to the 2009 in 2015 and 2011 vintage in 2017.

The 2020 Tim Atkin Report also awarded 94 points to the Brut Zero 2014, Pinot Noir Rosé 2015 and Blanc de Blancs 2015. Both the Brut NV and Brut Rosé NV received 90 points.

"The Cuvée Clive represents the very peak of our pursuit of the perfect bubble – this flagship Cap Classique encompasses everything we stand for as a specialist sparkling wine producer,” says a thrilled Pieter Ferreira, Graham Beck Cellar Master.

Opulent Living is all about and therefore we checked out the The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort at Beach in .
Opened in 1927 and affectionately called the ‘Pink Palace of the Pacific’ it is an iconic place to stay and it has by far the most exciting history of hotels which ushered a new era of luxurious resort travel to Hawaii. 528 rooms, beautiful restaurants and locations to relax, a small pool which surprised us a bit but considering that the beach is right in front of you, it might be an excuse.
We didn’t have the chance to meet a representative so we walked around and took some pictures and hope to do a proper site inspection for a review another time.

Fabulous new opening in Cape Town: 17th century congregational church turns into a luxury hotel.

KENTRIDGE HAS LANDED - WHY SHOULD I HESITATE: SCULPTURE opens today at Norval Foundation.

It is the first exhibition internationally to address Kentridge’s output as a sculptor, presenting three-dimensional work of William Kentridge from the past 19 years. This will be the largest Kentridge exhibition held in Africa in over a decade.

The exhibition at Norval Foundation will be accompanied by a concurrent exhibition Zeitz MOCAA entitled: “Why Should I Hesitate? Putting Drawings to Work”. This dual show forms the largest and most complete survey of one of the greatest masters of contemporary art.
