(I was brought up in the Karroo and learned my English from some black people in the Transvaal - So please look at my tenses and spelling in that contex)
Barra Lake and Sea want to show you an alternative way to enjoy at least one of the days of your holiday in our area . We left our vehicle at Bar Babalaza and took a bus to Inhambane . From there we first walked around Inhambane and then down to the jetty from where we took the Fairy boat to Maxixe . We took a guide , Luciano from Mattappas Local Bar , with us on the trip to make it more easy , specially with the local languages . In Maxixe we first settled for something to drink at the One Stop Restaurant , before we set off to do shopping at the informal market . Definately an unforgetable experience . The day soon became to short and we had to rush back to the fairy boat and back across the estuary , back to Inhambane . We did not take the bus back home , but rather settled for a "Chapa" or local Taxi . We had to wait at the Conjuina turn-off to Barra Lake and Sea to be picked up by our own vehicle , but were happy to use the time for our late afternoon snack . Luciano bought some bread and chicken and "Patjias" at the Inhambane market before we left there . The shopkeeper at Conjuina allowed us to use her shop as a private restaurant , as long as we buy our coldrink from her . What a nice and full day , with a lot of new friendshios and lot more understanding for the taxi drivers and the normal people which you normally just pass by . You mingle and you bond and you will never forget the experience.
