Harvest is in full swing here in South Africa and the excitement is real. Just look at these beauties at Boschrivier that will soon be turned into wine. I also took the opportunity to get another box of one of our favourites from the tasting room, the Boschrivier Shiraz 2016, because I heard they are down to their last boxes of that vintage. Boschrivier Wines is part of the Stanford Wine Route and the last wine farm on the R326 towards Caledon/Napier. Boschrivier Wines

February and March are also already filling up with fun summer events and harvest festivals. Watch out for events happening around 2 Feb, the birthday of SA wine, with the annual SA Wine Harvest Commemorative event on 1 Feb at Groot Constantia (), as well as Taste Constantia on 3 Feb. In March we can look forward to the Agulhas Wine Triangle Festival on 22 & 23 March at Black Oystercatcher.

Also had Romanian wine, the usual French, Spanish, Italian and Argentinian wine, also South African, some nice beers and stroopwafel liqueur.
