Our story
In December 2017 we started Little Sister's Self-Catering with the idea to start with one unit and grow the business to do what we love, accommodating and entertaining visitors by offering game drives in the Greater Addo Elelphant Nasional Park and boat cruises on the beautiful Sundays River. Less than two years later and we are now boasting six units thanks to all off you, our visitors !
Little Sisters has a no-smoking policy for indoors. All the units caters for up to 6 guests, kitchens are well equipped and each unit has their own braai area. An Communal braai area is also available for your use, should you want to mingle with other guests. The Units are close to the banks of the beautiful Sundays River, is easily reached from the N2 and is in the best location for game, coastal or river activities. Big Five game-viewing on our doorstep, makes Little Sisters in Colchester the perfect choice for self-catering accommodation. Visit the Addo Elephant Park, only 2 minutes away, in our open game-viewing Landrover with our qualified game-ranger. Take a 9 km drive on our Barge down the river to the beautiful sand dunes and take a stroll along the beach. Make use of our jetty for fishing , swimming or for a romantic sun-downer. Across the river you will see un spoilt natural bush, which is the habitat of Kudu, bushbuck, water mongoose and Cape Clawless Otters. Visitors staying for two nights or more, are welcome to make use of our kayaks to paddle down river to the beautiful dunes or up rivers to enjoy bird watching in the bush area.
