This adult pair and their “helper” have been dodging us for over a year—but they finally slipped up. All three were mature jackals and had become a serious problem.

With lambing season just days away, it’s a huge relief to have them out of the system. Who knows the damage they might’ve caused us this year if we hadn’t caught up to them in time.

Predator control is never easy, but it’s necessary.
This is part of the job—and part of the balance.
