Hey guys. Sorry to post on this group but I thought there would be a few of you that find this interesting. After working in the yachting industry for years I’ve decided to open a touring company for women. I know we all have lots of friends in South Africa. Have you heard of ? 🇧🇷 It is a starch extracted from the storage roots of the cassava plant (this species is native to the north region and central-west region of Brazil, but its use spread throughout South America - carried by Portuguese and Spanish explorers to most of the West Indies, Africa and Asia).
Tapioca consists entirely of starchy carbohydrates: is free of gluten, nuts, and grains, easy to digest, low in sodium... and a big source of iron and calcium. It is always in our diet and in all our trips. 😋
The ones in the photo were treated with beet water (the reason why they have this pink color), and has 2 versions: one salty (with , served with ) and another sweet (with milk and grated coconut).

One curiosity about the is that in 1860, the iron tower was erected 249 meters above sea level and its flashing light could be seen by ships 67 kilometers out of the sea. But the lighthouse proved to be ineffective as it was often covered by cloud and mist (is also probably the reason why Bartolomeu Dias named the ‘Point’ as the ‘Cape of Storms’...). After the wreck of the Portuguese liner “Lusitania” in 1911, it was decided to erect the present lighthouse below, just 87 meters above sea level.

Renet is South African and a travel lover. She has been exploring for the last 12 years from the cold waters of Portugal to the warm waters of Fiji and Papau New Guine. Traveling and working on a yacht, she is the queen of the 7 seas. 👸 🌊
She has been teaching surfing from the young age of 16 and now she is also a rescue diver. Traveling Africa extensively has given her the knowledge of all the greatest spot to surf. Her calm spiritual nature makes her the perfect buddy. The ocean is her natural habitat, from , , , to … is what she lives for.

Joana is Brazilian and has been living in Spain for the last 5 years. Master in fine arts, tattoo artist and a professional traveler, she believes that the life is an art and our journey is a poetic license. 😊
She traveled to India to do her Yoga teacher training course and today she mixes the different styles, creating an unique and her own way of exploring body, mind and soul.
