Kosi Mouth Snorkeling Adventure 27/12/2021
We were lucky to see some of the Stonefish moving towards likely spawning positions.. Pairing up and waiting for the correct conditions and tide.. Other special sightings included Ghost pipefish, Sixbar wrasse, Clown coris, Zebra lionfish, Crocodile fish and Bigspot rockcod.

We often refer to snorkeling in Kosi Bay as snorkeling with Butterflies and Dragons.. Here is one of our friendly Dragons..

The Painted Moray Eel, predominately found in estuarine systems..
Morays open and close their mouths to move water through their gills for respiration.
This behavior can often be seen as a threat especially towards snorkelers/divers, in fact this is far from the truth, they are very shy creatures and will only attack if provoked!
