A dream first hunt with us for this gritty young huntress, some excellent shooting and miles on the boots secured her some trophies of a lifetime, Dad did some hunting too but mostly watched his peanut do her thing with pride 💪🏻

A very eventful couple of weeks with our new mate from Australia🇦🇺 some top class and unique trophies taken from the Kat River Conservancy and down to the coast. Some sharp banter and chat was had with the president of the GC club….we also have consensus that Aussies are better hunters than they are at playing rugby or break dancing. Ably guided by Eric Strydom.

We missed the 4th of July by a couple of days…but what a great week we had visiting with a bunch of our friends from the USA, we were treated like family and fed like kings!! Thanks again to everyone who we visited with, from Denver to Delafield we can’t wait to see you all on our side of the pond in the coming weeks, months and year!!

We are ready to kick season 2024 off in just a couple of weeks with past and new hunters from all across the globe 🌎
We are extremely fortunate to hunt some of the best and vast free range areas in the EC, with big quotas…from Vaal Rhebuck at altitude, Buff and the spirals in the valley thickets, Springbuck and the “Beests” on the plains, Oribi and Blue Duiker on the coast and a whole lot of other exciting critters in between.

A family Safari in the Kat River Conservancy is as fun as it gets!!
We recently hosted a fantastic husband and wife team and their three tough adventurous sons. The whole family managed to bag some top class animals, with some seriously impressive shooting from the boys on there first trip to Africa (which will not be there last)
Family and Friends is what we are about at JFS and Alphaeton Lodge.

We had a special time with Bill Friemoth and Stephanie Friemoth 🍾🇿🇦 It was a privilege to be able to share in their 10 year wedding anniversary celebrations….Steph got Bills heart racing (like a proper kudu at 25 yards) when she surprised him with a vow renewal on the Alphaeton lawns. They also managed to bag some top class trophies as one does when you visit the Kat River Conservancy. #🇿🇦
