Believe it or not, but we have a healthy population of fallow deer in South Africa. They were introduced from Europe back in1869 and have become well established on in our hunting areas. The fallow deer rut runs from March - June and it is during this time that they are best to hunt.

Garry had a visitor while bear hunting this evening. It is a pine martin and we don't usually see them because they are very shy and elusive. What a treat to get to be so close to this beautiful little guy and get it on video. Enjoy.
