And that's a wrap.
10 000km and 16 States... done. Ducked 2 major hurricanes, visited Elvis, Everglades, rode amazing twisties, shared exciting days with great mates, and had many laughs. My bike.."Eskom" behaved this time, and South America is on the cards.
It was really amazing to see the places that so many songs were written about, which I have been singing for many years.
Tks to Boetie and Cuzzy for a lekka 4 weeks... until the next one. Great traveling with you Men.

Some USA sightseeing. Jack Daniels distillery, H***y Tonk Boulevard, and Studio B in Nashville, Sun Studio in Memphis. Check that piano and mic.... Elvis used those... BB Kings club for some Jazz.... and then we legged it, 2000km in 2 days to race Hurricaine Milton to Miami, Florida. We won... 😂😂.

Into Canada we go. Weather has been a bit of a challenge with some cold, wet days.
We've turned and headed South, dodging hurricanes and the devastation.
My suggestion of the new Dunlop Trail Raiders was a failure. They were too soft, and my fancy waterproof Leatte adventure gear is NOT waterproof... Back to old school rain suit and rubber gloves.... warm as toast and dry.
2 weeks to go and its all done, sadly.
Great riding with great mates. Lots of laughs and fun....
Chris our guide, keeping us well fed and on proper twisties. Clint is keeping the lities in order

9 states done. We are now on Deer Isle, Maine, going into Canada tomorrow. DC was cool. Saw the Whitehouse, monuments, museums, and the Spire, all by scooter.. 😂.
The USA is so organised, massive, and functional with exceptional roads. Weather is cooler now up North. We are hoping to do more camping on the mountain stages. 12 days in, 3500km done.
I'm hoping to get some beaut pictures of autumn (or fall as they say here), Check that map, insane where we are... Google Deer Isle..

On da road again.... BMW GS ride from Miami up the east side, 5 weeks of fun. Canada and back thru the middle of the USA to Miami.
NASA, Georgia, Savannah, Charleston, the Carolinas, Virginia, now in DC. We are catching the tail of Hurricane Francine, so some rain, bit cold but great riding.
Lekka mates, lots of laughs and sightseeing . I'm back on Eskom (my bike with faulty electrics.. 🤣), but so far, so good.
We also trying out the new Dunlop Trail Raiders.... they not out in SA yet.... Amazing rubber

Portofino, Bologna, Florence, Barcelona, Catalunya Moto GP, and Imola F1 ticked.
Mixture of motorsport, history, culture, sightseeing and local cuisine. Trains, busses, taxis, planes are all so efficient. Everything just works in Europe, so lekka.
SA still the best though, lekka to be home....

Italian F1 Grand Prix - Imola 2024 done.
Bucket list stuff, back to back F1, and Moto GP weekends.
Amazing to see these young men (except Alonso 😂) perform the way they do at such high speeds and precision. Vibe, noise, speed, colour, brands, 100 000 plus people, beer and junk food🙈

Namibia, we will return.
Fish River Canyon is a must-see, second biggest canyon in the world.
Oasis and Gannaga in Tankwa is a good stop enroute home via Merweville and Swartberg, Rooiberg ( like we didn't ride enuf.. 😂)
What a trip. Good mixture of gravel, tar, passes and technical riding

Namibia, 12 day ride. Luderitz, Aus, Keetmanshoop, Fish River Canyon.
So clean, beautiful roads, minimal traffic and amazing scenery and super safe
Gravel, dust, beautiful sunsets, and fantastic riding. NAM is a must for big adventure bikes, just amazing!
