Yesterday, two members of our team travelled to Kleinmond to go help plant the trees for a Memorial Garden for Johann Jnr. Thank you again to all who contributed by donating trees and also to Yaron and Hans who gave their time and energy. A total of 10 lemon, 20 apple and pear and 5 fig trees were planted. We need each other to go through life together, so it was lovely to spend time with Johan, Marie and the rest of their family.

Lockdown had an impact - but we made a plan!! During this period Christiana kept in touch with the children in Villiersdorp via telephone calls and whatsapp, encouraging them, providing life skills training etc. We realised they had fears and many questions, we had to step in and help!! However, this past weekend Christiana visited them and they had a lot of fun catching up. Props help to lighten the mood and the teenagers opened up and shared amongst each other, but I think they were delighted to see her again 😄. Sharing some pictures and information on the work that she does!!

We attended the celebration service for Johann Matthee Jnr yesterday. It was raw and it was difficult. At the same time ... it was beautiful!! The 17 years allocated to him was spent living the life of a Jesus disciple - always with this gentle smile. He is leaving behind a huge legacy, he touched many peoples lives. I am left thinking .... will my life do the same?? Will yours?
All I can say now ... Goodbye sweetheart - we will see you again soon ❤

Celebrating Women's Day 2020!! We have partnered with Karen and Jeraam Adendorf and they are serving the people in Macassar Village in an amazing way. Today the ladies got personalised platters of cupcakes at Siphosenkosi Creché.

So blessed to have received baby products from Johnson's. We teamed it up with our knitted baby caps to make a lovely gift for any newborn. A very useful gift to use to present the Gospel to Mommies and Daddies.

August 2008 we organized an outreach into Nomzamo. Cold and wet weather could not deter us from blessing people with clothes, food parcels and blankets. A very memorable day indeed!!

What a blessing to have been a part of this journey!!! Through faithfulness and sheer hard work, House Madalitsho is now ready to do what God has called them to do!!! May the babies who will be housed at this house be touched by His Grace and may their lives be forever changed!!
