Sneaky Mona Lisa giving me the dreamy eyes here in eclectic coffee shop. Lovely relaxing atmosphere here with so many wonderful temptations to look at. You feel very removed from the stress of work and traffic.

“You havn’t lived until you’ve tried Skydiving!”
It’s a bold statement, but kinda true. We did a tandem skydive at last year and I have to say, it was absolutely crazy, and a lot more intense than I imagined. Falling towards the earth feels like forever. The most incredible part for me though, was the view. The glistening river winding its way into the Vredefort Dome mountains is hypnotising, and to think that you’re actually falling into the worlds oldest, largest (visible) meteor crater is well, kinda cool 😎.
Yes, I’d recommend it 👍.

Remember to say no to plastic when checking out at the shops. Pack a few tote bags in the car or rather purchase a canvas tote at the till. This July get into the habit of saying no to plastic and yes to nature. You can be the difference. Less plastic means less litter in the streets and in our rivers. We knows it’s tough, but we have to start somewhere and become more conscious about .

Another great initiative for charity 👍. Well done to for rising to the challenge and improving lives for those less fortunate ✨.
“Over the weekend this group of adventurers braved the eastern Free State winter to conquer 260km of gravel road from Parys to Clarens in aid of Lehlohonolo, a local daycare centre that provides food and art classes to 65 kids every day.
Currents the centre is in desperate need of a kitchen. To lend your support to this cause please contact the Lewis Balink Foundation for more information.

The Vaal River at and the is icy icy ICY cold, but absolute MAGIC! you’re definitely mad, but don’t worry, we’re also going to brave the paddle sparrow farts tomorrow morning. Why? Winter on the Vaal River, close to Parys, is magical. The river has an enchanting mood that really takes hold of your spirit. For me, it is a time to reflect, find peace and balance. It’s a time to grow inwardly and imagine new beginnings, and for some reason time spent here in winter, feels more solidified. I suppose it’s mesmerizing because the river in many ways is a timeline.

“I love exploring with this one ☝🏻We went into a bunch of antique shops on our recent trip to , and ended up buying the most beautiful silver tray in one of the stores 😍

On our way out I spotted these sherbert packets (swipe 👉🏻) and was immediately transported back to my childhood. I felt so nostalgic 😌 I must have stared at it for a rather long time because the shop owner gave me one for free 😄

Do you remember these? What things remind you of your childhood?”

~ thanks for sharing this nostalgic moment with us . I used to love these when I was a kid, especially when playing arcade games in old corner cafe’s. It also reminds me of those big jars of apricot sweets which all those shops used to smell like. That and yummy salt n vinegar slap chips!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
