Rusty Compass Adventures Bad-ass group tours for people aged 18 and above... AIM

We have entered a new age of travel. Travel is not for the rich, the fortunate or the famous anymore.

By exploring the most beautiful countries on earth, spending time with like-minded people, and doing some really cool sh*t, we promote a fresh, heightened way to go backpacking. It's for everyone. People are coming to realise that the answers to their questions don't always lie in books, televisions or even from people who "think" they know. Our aim is to help people find these answers for themsel

ves. Even if it means searching for them on the otherside of the world. OUR PHILOSOPHY

"We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again — to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more." - Pico Iyer

“ We travel , in essence, to become young fools again ...” Perfect.

Big things planned this year. Let's see where the next adventure will take us!

The destination, Cambodia. The mission, backpacking from the north to the south. And because of Cambodia's unique history, there is a lot for us get through. We'll be trekking through jungles, hiking to waterfalls, snorkeling off islands, and partying on beaches, whilst at the same time learning about the history that Cambodia's foundations were built on.

The dates are not set in stone, so if you are interested in joining, pop a message and tell me what dates suit you. If you want any further details, pop a message. We have a few people already interested, and with a limited amount of people allowed to join, the sooner you get in-touch the better.

Also, a few of us will be staying in South East Asia for new years, so if you wanna hang around after the tour, please do. The more the merrier. Lekker man.

Oh, and if you have a group of larger than 4 people, you'll get a lil discount. Pleasure doing business.

Until then, keep rocking the free world.

On the 22nd of Dec 2015, a group of 9 individuals gathered. Non of them knowing what to expect. With fire in their eyes and adventure coursing through their veins, they held one anothers hands and took a leap of faith into the unknown. After 3 weeks of blissfully controlled chaos, these 9 individuals had merged into one breathing organism. Starting off a group, then turning into a tribe.

The streets would empty and the children would scream as they approached. Strangers would throw gifts at the tribe as they passed, mostly consisting of Pad Thai, beer, Jagermeister and the odd packet of ci******es..

But soon enough, the locals from this far away land realized that this was a tribe of peace. The tribe would give out free hugs by day, and supply kisses on the cheeks by night. They would dance until sun-rise, and laugh out so loud that the whole island would hear.

In just 3 weeks, the tribe had changed many peoples lives. And whether they knew it or not, they had changed their own lives.

Rusty Compass Adventure's very first tour has come to end. And to have spent 3 weeks in such a magical place, with such special people was a true blessing..

"We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun."

Keep an eye on this space, gonna be loads of photo's and memories shared. Give us a few days.... ;)

If life was meant for good friends and great adventures, then we are heading down the right track... A big thumbs up to this diverse group of gypsies. Each individual adding a unique sound to this travelling orchestra. From the bustling Swedish factories of Ikea, to the warmth of the French croissant , and all the way down to great South African mountain of table, we have all united together in this search of enlightenment.

Connecting like-minded people from different parts of the world to share the same experience is really what we are trying to do here. And it just so happens that this adventure takes us 10 to Thailand for 3 weeks. I cannot think of a better place to be, with a better group of people. We have already achieved what we have set out to achieve, everything else now is just a big fat cherry on-top.

If you weren't able to join us, have no fear. (Although you could probably still join us for this one). Next year we are heading off to Cambodia. So keep in the loop, and hopefully we can keep up the momentum.

Yes yes yes Rusty has been abit quite these past few weeks... But for Rusty to keep it as real as possible, we try to spend as little time on facebook as possible. And to be honest, there is not a whole lot to say.

We can keep on throwing down some pictures and quotes for you guys, but in the end, you can't really experience what we are offering through a computer screen.

So with that being said, we are almost on 500 likes, please share our page again, 500 likes is quite a biggie for us:) Also, we've got a "friends tour" happening this December. Starting on the 22nd of December, we'll either be going to Thailand or Cambodia, whichever the group decides. So if you're keen on that, give us a shout.

Anyway. Our Cambodian tour is gonna be released in a few weeks, this tour is a special one. And then by the end of the year we'll have Vietnam released. We've got some insane idea's for the future friends. weird,life-changing, humbling experiences. Picture this... 2 weeks, camping and horse-riding through the Andes Mountains in Argentina, i mean pfffft.

Keep it real....

Ps. - checkout the picture attached for some advice on this fine Tuesday morning
