SITE Africa

SITE Africa SITE (Society of Incentive Travel Excellence), is the only association dedicated to the development of the incentive travel industry globally.

Founded in 1973, SITE is comprised of 2000 members in 90 countries. Our 28 chapters span the globe and provide local connectivity for members. Our members are incentive travel professionals who know from experience that incentive travel is a powerful business tool, and together, SITE and our members are on a mission to strengthen and support our industry.

Hello TEAM Africa,
I hope all is well. We are resending the below information as a reminder to fill in the survey. This survey is open to all Africans who engage in incentive travel.

Today we launched what is arguably the most important initiative we undertake each year – to understand the current and future state of the Incentive Travel Industry through the Incentive Travel Index (ITI) survey.

Why is this important?
This survey allows global professionals in the incentive travel industry to contribute perspectives that can help us all better understand how to generate more business and grow our industry.

How can I help?
1. Schedule 5-10 minutes to take the survey. Your voice matters!
2. Send the below link to 3-5 colleagues and customers in the incentive travel industry (they need not be members) and ask them to complete.

Good decisions are made based on good data. And the more respondents we have to this survey, the better our data will be. To encourage your chapter members to complete the survey, we are incentivizing you with a Chapter Contest, as outlined in this document . Each chapter has a dedicated link, as noted. The link for SITE Africa is: https://emea.focusvision.com/survey/selfserve/2eb6/240500?list=22

Additionally, look for ready-made posts in our Social Media tool (Sprout Social Employee Advocacy) and REMEMBER TO INSERT YOUR CHAPTER SPECIFIC LINK. Additional copy can be found attached and graphics here.

The ITI will be live in the field until Friday, July 28.

Thank you for your support with this initiative. I hope to see SITE Africa rise to the top of the Leaderboard!!

Join us on 5 June 2024 at the new Pullman Hotel in Cape Town to enjoy some serious networking, explore the new property and tackle a few very important topics. Guest speakers are Verona Naidoo from Accor hotels and she will talk, amongst other things - how this hotel group trains there staff to recognise the signals of child trafficking situations.
Furthermore, Si Ekin aka "The Naked Speaker" will help us get our post-COVID mojo back with a highly entertaining and interactive talk. RSVP to me - [email protected] and please let me know if you have any special dietary requirements.

The pangolin is one of Africa's most unique animals. The word ‘pangolin’ comes from the Malay word ‘penggulung’ which means ‘roller’. This is because the pangolin can reach up to 4.5 ft long (from head to tail) and is covered in scales, which it uses to roll into a ball when attacked, protected by its sharp scales.
