It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of our longtime clients who became a dear friend, Joni Hackwell. Joni passed away yesterday after a horse-riding accident a few days ago.
The Hackwell family is part of the Motshwere Safaris family, and we all loved Joni very much. She was a beautiful, gentle, and strong woman and a rock for her husband Richard, their children, and grandchildren. We will always remember her fondly.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Hackwell family during this difficult and heartbreaking time. May the peace and strength of our Heavenly Father carry you through this time and may you experience the endless love and support of your loved ones – today and every day.

Did you know Cape buffalo are highly social animals, living in herds of up to 2000, led by a dominant female? 🐾 Males often form smaller bachelor groups. Known for their strong herds, they fiercely protect themselves against predators, especially lions. Their unpredictable and aggressive behavior makes them one of Africa's Big Five dangerous game animals.
