That is the reason why we are so madly in love with the two deserts in our region, namely the Namib Desert (oldest desert on our planet) and the Kalahari Desert (the longest stretch of sand in the world). In these two adjacent desert regions in Southern Africa there is an abundance of wildlife and birdlife. The areas are well-managed and protected and only limited numbers of tourists are allowed. Once you have travelled through one of these deserts and experienced the beauty and abundance it offers, you will keep coming back with your friends in tow.

A tour to Namaqualand and the Richtersveld National Park, just to the south of the Namib Desert, is one of our most popular. Our guide to that region was born and bred in Namaqualand and knows the area well. He will make this an unforgettable journey!
