After being in the tourism industry for many years, working in different fields of tourism, we realised that our generation is caught between two difficult things: wanting to travel and explore the world, and not wanting to damage the planet.

We want to have adventures, but we also want to make a positive difference.

And that’s the reason for Hello Adventure. Our goal is to give you a way to travel and explore and feel free, while trusting us to make sure that your travels help the planet, not harm it. This is how we’re different from the rest, and this is why you can trust us:

--> We take ethics seriously. We strive to run an ethical, kind business, and we expect our suppliers to do the same.

--> We don’t just claim to care about helping the planet, we actually do it. For every self drive tour we sell, we donate a tree to a local community or school that desperately needs it. This cancels your carbon emissions for the tour, and it includes getting the tree to the community, planting it, and taking care of it for a year to make sure that it’s happy in the ground.

--> We plant one Spekboom plant for EVERY sale we make.

--> We work closely with local volunteer organisations and if you feel like helping out while you’re on a self drive tour, we’ll organise it for you at no extra cost.

--> We donate a percentage of EVERY sale to a local charity or NPO.

--> We do not support wild animal interaction. Wild animals should be in the wild, not kept in cages and taught to pose for photos. If you’re an “animal person” we can suggest some ethical ways that you can see and hang out with wildlife during your trip and still get those Insta moments.

--> We are local, and we are travelers ourselves. Every self drive tour itinerary is designed by tour guide Nick VT , and our team is a bunch of friends and family who want to make sure that you enjoy your adventure in South Africa.
