in 1998 ADVANTAGE was successful in obtaining a legal BBWW ( boat based whale watching ) permit from the then Dept of Environmental Affairs and Tours Marine and Coastal Management - they have been operating from the St Lucia beach within the iSimangaliso Wetland Park for 16yrs, and in 2010 was successful in also getting the BBWW permit in Wilsons Wharf harbor Durban - the season runs from 1 June t

ill 1 Dec annually, and in these months you are guaranteed to see a HUMPBACK WHALE from as close as 50m's or you get 40% of your money refunded - and the purpose of this page is for the permit holder to showcase to yourselves the immense pretty pictures that they encounter daily - so that wherever you are in the world you can enjoy to see what they some times 'take for granted ' - it is surely a soul-stirring experience - it is 2hours ON the ocean and 30minutes on each side to get you to-and-from the beach - visit our www.advantagetours.co.za to see realtime availability and do direct bookings -
