Ukuveza had an interesting start to 2019.
During the first trip of the year I had the misfortune of a slave cylinder packing up on the way to Belfast. I was able to complete the trip and got safely back to have the repair done over the weekend by Eagle Auto. The following trips were some interesting airport and concert excursions. The first was for the Cape town models competing in a National beauty pageant with Miss Petite South Africa being one of my clients. The Ed Sheeran concert also did not disappoint and I received a Golden Circle ticket as a gift from Francois.Following my concert excursions I did a wedding guest trip for Yvonne, the principal of Regio Nursery School, This was a most pleasant trip as I ended up attending the reception and was well looked after. My most recent trip was for some very attractive ladies from Hair Impressions to a Schwarzkopf event. Herewith some photos taken on the excursions.

Ukuveza and Load Link did a joint trip today which was a birthday surprise for Carien Albertyn. The group had a lot of fun and entertained the drivers and co-drivers of both vehicles with many a clever word!!!

This past week was an interesting time for Ukuveza!
The Strempel family booked us for a wedding party with a difference. The progression to the wedding in terms of functions and travel started as far back as 23 Desember where the requirement was to transport a bus load of people and luggage from Lynwood Ridge to Mabalingwe and from OR Tambo to Mabalingwe, The fiirst trip to Mabalingwe was a nightmare as there was a road block on the N1 that resulted a 10km queue. We ducked off on to the N4 and on to the R101 as I still had to get back for the OR Tambo trip. The going on the R101 was slow but much better than the going on the N1. We got to Mabalingwe just before sunset although we started the trip at 13h00 in Lynwood Ridge. Crusing back to OR Tambo went as best we could considering the time we left Mabalingwe. We were still 1hour late and waisted no time in collecting the passengers and luggage.
The trip back I opted to travel through Pretoria and straight on to the R101 to only join the N1 at Pienaarsrivier. I got to Mabalingwe just before midnight, off loaded and started the journey back to Centurion. Tired and spent I got home at 2h30 am.
The Strempel family had the bachelors party after a day or two of game viewing and by the time I fetched them for the next part of the wedding that was to be held at Monate Game Lodge some looked worse for wear.
The wedding that was held the following day was once again an all night affair with some of the guests that only got to bed at 6am the following day!! The loading of the luggage was a tedious affair as most of the guests were very tired. We made our way slowly through the game farm and saw quite a few animals on our way to the gate. The trip to Pretoria went well and some of the passengers looked recovered and ready for more.
Most of the passengers were Canadians from Toronto. They were a pleasure to have and I appreciated their friendly and pleasant company. I hope Carl and his bride have a wonderful marriage full of love and laughter!!!!

Ukuveza had a few interesting trips since the last posting.
We did a bachlorette for a group of elegant ladies, a bachlors trip for a group of adventurous men intent on giving the groom things to remember as well as a trip to Bayete Day Spa with a group of professional therapist ladies.

The Joburg Day passengers that travelled from Parkview shopping centre were a group of well behaved youngsters that had a day of good fun at the Crocodile Creek Polo Club venue.

The trip was a three pit stop affair with a lot of fun and laughter thrown in!!!

Ukuveza will be running a spectating tour to the National Rally Championship event to be held in the Heidelberg area on 20 August 2016. We will leave Pretoria at 6h00 on Saturday and will spectate the event up and until the prize giving. The cost is R100 per person. The additional cost of entry to the rally centre which is R50 pp will be additional. Call 082 772 7331 to book your seat!!!!!

The group tonight was repeat clients that are a jovial bunch of people. They have quite a number of sing along songs that they sing so loud that I can not even hear the sound system of the bus playing!!!
