Shikwari Transfers and Safaris was a dream that became a reality in 2017. The founders Ann & Petrus De Jager started the company out of their passion for food, wildlife, nature and people. Both from South Africa, the two shared a common love for the Lowveld and Kruger National Park.

Ann De Jager was born in Johannesburg South Africa. She fondly remembers visiting the Kruger National Park as a child with her family and her passion of wildlife and nature has only grown ever since. Ann received her accreditation through the Field Guide Association of South Africa (FGASA) in 2001 as a qualified field guide. She pursued her passion in culinary arts at the Capsicum Culinary school and received her qualification as a Chef, allowing her to offer a an all round experience to travelers.
The knowledge and passion of both nature conservation and hospitality makes Shikwari a welcoming, comfortable, enjoyable and educational travel partner.
Petrus De Jager was born in Polokwane, South Africa. As with Ann; Petrus too shares an undying love and passion for the Lowveld and particularly the Kruger. His background in public relations enables Shikwari to continually strive towards customer satisfaction and needs. Petrus' flamboyant nature makes for an unforgettable and unique experience.
