Circle of life.They're polygamous, mating with many partners. Dominant males mate more often than less aggressive males. The female is able to store s***m in her cloaca, fertilizing her eggs for up to four years after copulation. Courtship occurs during spring and summer.Who am I?

Giraffe hunting often stir up emotions,but the necessity to sustainably utilize all species outweights emotion. This is a very old bull and has been breeding in the herd for over 8 years now. He had very few teeth left and would've very soon started to loose condition. He must've weighed close to 2 tons alive with slaughtered weight of 870kg.All the meat is utilized and will feed many families.Thank you for your contribution to our conservation efforts Alan.

One of the most beautiful colour variations of blesbuck in the world!The white Saddleback blesbok is a special animal that is almost unrealistic to the eye.Congrats on a great trophy Alan. The ultimate start to a South African safari.First ever Saddleback Oryx hunted.Congratulations Alan.He was an old bull of over 13 years and have done his bit for the future of these magnificent colour variations.You are now the only hunter in the world that we know of with an Oryx slam including Red,Golden,Common (done at Mattanu 2020) and Saddleback(2023).What an achievement.We might add a few more variations to the list very soon.Thank you Papkuil for allowing us the opportunity. Privileged to be a part of our clients grandslam getting the first 3 of the Super Slam Gemsbok. Red,Gold and Common Gemsbok taken.Now for the Saddle Back,Black and painted to complete the Super Slam.Will be the first Super Slam in hunting history and will possibly take about another 3 years to complete.

Unbelievable animals harvested with some of our outfitter clients and some of our own US clients during Aug/Sept at Mattanu Private Game Reserve.The contribution by hunters, through sustainable utilisation, to the wildlife economy and the conservation efforts in Africa is immense.Without them species,their land and conservation as we know it will be dessamated.
