So these are just some snippets of 4 October Bangalore sightseeing. We did Commercial street. And the famous Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens. Took a drive through Cubbon Park. Famous Brigade Goad. There's more to do but time was against us and it started raining so we couldn't do much. We stayed on MG Road so it was super convenient

Sorry peeps I haven't had a chance to continue.
Soooo still on 2 October. Last part of the day.
We were hosted for dinner at Somatheeram. They welcomed us with fresh coconut water. And arranged for a cultural show at dinner. They went out of their way and gifted us traditional Kerala sarees and spices. also have their Ayurveda hospital on the resort. The owner was the first to come up with the Ayurveda resort concept in the 1980s if I am not mistaken. Somatheeram is one of the most Authentic Ayurveda treatment centre and have won many awards for best Ayurveda centre.

They gave us each a free Ayurveda treatment body massage. It was my first time and i didnt know what to expect so i was totally scared. I didnt enjoy it .
And I must admit the hospital felt like a dark dingy hospital... but then again for treatment people are happy to just get treated and be well . Not how the place looks.
My funny story 🤣🤣. The therapist locked the door. dimmed the lights. When they do the head massage they make u sit on a chair. Uncovered. However i insisted and said im leaving if she doesnt allow it. Lol... so i was allowed. However colleagues werent. The therapist was chanting some words and I don't know didnt feel like a massage. Just felt like she was just rubbing oil. Was half dying thinking what did i swt myself up for lol 🤔 🤣🤣I was more scared and didn't know what to expect I guess that's why. Lol . Now I sit and laugh about it. Next time il be more open minded and enjoy it better.
Resort however was nice.

2 October.... Still ... Yes, we did quite a bit on this day.
So this was the site inspection of the Ayurveda Village/hospital in Poovaar Island Resort. So for me this was by far the prettiest I saw. Trust me some others looked like a real hospital and dark dodgy dingy. If i had to do treatment there id probably je more sick lol. This is a resort type hospital within a resort ... if you know what I mean.
So yes. We do Ayurveda and wellness packages as well. Please do contact me should you be interested in anything...

Still on 2 October... Yes hectic Long days. Site Inspections Lunches Dinners different places.
So we then were hosted for Lunch and Site Inspection at the Amazing Poovaar Island Resort. It is beautiful 😍
To get here you need to travel by boat. It was raining but so exciting.
Here we mainly visited the Ayurveda Hospital and rooms and were treated to an amazing Ayurveda lunch. I didn't think healthy food could have been so tasty.
However, these pictures and videos are of the main Resort.

We then visited the Leela Palace wing. And the Spa and the Organic Vegetable Garden.
This hotel is a stunner 😍

2 October... My birthday 🎂. My colleagues and Hotel arranged a cake at breakfast and the management celebrated with us during breakfast. So hospitable. I felt so special. Thank you .
We then headed off to do a site inspection of the property. The executive wing and the Leela Palace as well as the Spa and Vegetable garden where they grow organic veggies and actually cook them. So the next few posts will be a continuation of the site inspection.

the 1st of October we drove to Kovalam. Long drive. Entering route we were hosted by a hotel in Kollam and then visited Jatayu National Park.
After that we made our way to Kovalam passing through Trivandram town.
our group was split between a few hotels. I was lucky to stay at The Leela Kovalam. We were welcomed with some refreshments and they had arranged cultural welcome show.

30 September. After our amazing experience on the Houseboat we drove to Marari beach. My hotel was the
I was alone so I must admit it was a bit eeri at 1st but I grew to enjoy it. No TV, no noise, dark feel like u far away in a garden bush. Lights kept tripping. Room was okish I think they need some refurbishment maybe a good paint and the gardenneeds a bit of tlc. But other than that amazing, activities and facilities. Best beach behind the property.
