Hi everyone! Lots of rain all over southern Africa it would seem. For anyone reading this who can remember staying at Leroo La Tau on one of our safaris you may remember a waterhole and clouds of dust as the Zebra ran and elephants coming to drink. The Boteti River was always dry when we were there. It has been flowing more in recent years. Here's a current pic I received from a newsletter from Desert & Delta.

Check out the Victoria Falls on 4 May - peak water levels. Filmed by Tom Varley who had special permission to be there and film. With the lockdown in place hardly anybody would have seen this beauty if it were not for this video! Thanks Tom!

Hi all! Anybody looking for a holiday in Botswana in May next year? I have a booking for 6 days in Moremi, Okavango and Savuti which I am going to cancel unless somebody wants to take it over as the safari I booked for has fallen through. Will need an urgent decision!!

I booked for 2 singles (can be converted to doubles as the rooms are the same): 2 rooms/tents for 2 nights each at Mankwe Bush Lodge, Xaxaba Island, Savuti Camp. All meals, game drives etc and transfers from Maun to Maun (both land and air) included. (Obviously does not include your flights from home to and from Maun!!) Dates: 16 to 22 May 2020. Looking for US$6700 for 2 singles.
