We have had all types and makes of 4x4 come along, from the small and diminutive little Suzuki Jimny to the larger Jeep, Land Rover and Land Cruiser.

We also offer 4x2 trails for vehicles with diff-lock from time to time.

Our Mission

Monteseel Adventures is an outdoor 4x4 adventure company based halfway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg in a residential area called Monteseel. Our mission is to introduce 4x4/4x2 (with difflock) owners and other like minded individuals to the natural open spaces in and around The Valley of a 1000 Hills and in this process create economic opportunities for the locals in the areas where we operate.

Monteseel Adventures offers to clients wishing to experience and participate in the natural beauty of the valley a self drive option where the client has his/her own 4x4. The Valley of a 1000 Hills is truly spectacular and unsurpassed as a 4x4 destination. It is less than an hours drive from Durban or Pietermaritzburg in your 4x4. To explain it in words cannot do it justice and I thought that by sharing some photo's may just be enough to urge you to dust off your trusty 4x4, throw in a cooler box or three and come join us on a trail.
