If you have ever wanted to do the Fish River Canyon Hike, then this is the perfect opportunity.
Fish River Canyon Hike
In celebration of 20 years of offering guided hiking tours, we have booked on the iconic Fish River Canyon hiking trail in Namibia.
Due to the heat of the region, the trail is only open for hiking from the 1st May to the end of September each year. To mark the launch of Garden Route Trail in May 2004, we have secured 10 spaces for the Fish River Canyon trail, starting on the 1st May 2024.
The ethos of the hike will be a relaxed hike, as a group of hikers that enjoy the simplicity of wild hiking in pristine environments. Starting on the 1st of May will also mean that we will be starting the 2024 season of hikes in the canyon.

In search of some vitamin Sea on a winters day in the Garden Route #beachride
Mountain biking and hiking tour in the Garden Route Day 3. It is always difficult to pin down a single favourite mountain bike route, but the Jonkersberg contour path from George to Grootbrak near #Mosselbay is in the top 5. A series of inclines and declines on this 50km ride produces an unexpected 700m of altitude gain. But it is the views, pockets of indigenous forest between the swathes of fynbos and pune plantations and the mountain streams that are the primary feature of this ride. #crosscape #GardenRoute #MTB
Garden Route MTB tour. Today was our first stage of a 4 day mountain bike and hiking tour in the Garden Route. May through to July are often referred to as the 'Hidden Season' with characteristic mild sunny days which are perfect for riding and hiking. We started the tour this morning from Wilderness with a 73km loop heading out on the Seven Passes road and back on the Lakes Road. #MTB #GardenRoute
