Situated about 8km from Wilderness village along the Garden Route, this secluded and private chalet lies nestled in and surrounded by forest. Enjoy the peace and serenity of this unique setting while staying close to the sea, beaches and restaurants. The space
Forest Chalet consists of two bedrooms (sleeps five). The other bedroom has two single beds. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering

, with gas stove and oven, fridge and freezer. The bathroom which has an outside entrance but is part of the chalet, has a shower, bath, basin, toilet and a clothes washer. All rooms open onto a spacious covered patio with lovely views. In addition there is a braai (barbecue) area with braai equipment (wood supplied). The chalet is 15 minutes from Wilderness village with its numerous restaurants (some highly rated), variety of shops, liquor store, petrol station, bicycle and scooter hire, pharmacy and Friday night market with live music. It is also 20 minutes from the Wilderness beaches and lagoons. The village is located between two picturesque rivers, one of which flows into a beautiful vlei (lake) with associated wetlands. These environments are wonderful for birding. Canoes can be hired to explore these waterways. Other activities offered in Wilderness and surrounds include paragliding (tandem gliding available), abseiling, surfing, horse riding, mountain biking, water-skiing, sailing, fishing and quad biking. Numerous nature reserves with a network of hiking trails lie within easy reach of the chalet. Guest access
You come and go as you like. The chalet is completely private and is booked as a unit. Other things to note
The road into the valley is steep and the last 400 m of entrance road to the cottage is fairly rough but can be negotiated with a normal vehicle, driven slowly without a problem. The bathroom has a separate outside entrance, but is connected to the chalet. Mobile reception at the cottage is limited but there are areas nearby where the reception is better. There is no internet connection at the chalet. Free WiFi is available at a number of restaurants in Wilderness village. In case of need we have WiFi facilities at our house. If you don't feel like cooking, meals at extra cost can be arranged with us. My wife is an excellent cook! Bedroom 1

Come on guys, there are just a few months left to book of this year, December is already gone!!! You will be very sad to miss a spot at this unique place, one of my most Loved and Enjoyed places in the garden route! Everyone can do with a bit of quiet time, to rest and heal and find calm again. This is the best and most beautiful place to do it!!!
Whenever life gets too hard for me I go there and I can tell you that from the moment I arrive there I am at peace. Everything there is so beautiful, so lush and green and the sounds of the birdlife is so very soothing.
Let your mind and body find rest and healing in this paradise. You owe it to yourself! You will feel much better when you leave there, I promise you that.

I have tons more facts that makes this place a magical paradise for me, but those ones are the best!

I have personally visited this Chalet many times over and I loved it more each time!

Remember that this Chalet closes down for the winter time and will be available to book from August 15th again. I have 4 days left to book during the first week of May if anyone is keen.

Hi everyone. Sad to announce that all weekends up till May have been booked out. There are however weekdays left for you to book. I advise everyone to book well in advance to claim your spot in this Magical Paradise. The Chalet does close down from end of May till August 15 due to the cold winters in the forest making the Chalet not inhabitable during that time. Tis the month of LOVE.
Sadly all weekends in Feb have been booked, but that does not stop you from taking a mid week break and enjoying this amazing spot with your special loved one.
For a two night stay for two people it’s only R1200. You get the entire Chalet, which is fully equip and located in the most beautiful of places. This is the most perfect destination to reconnect with your significant other and ignite the sparks of Love once more.
